Works of the documenta 14

As from 10 June 2017 the museum for sepucral culture will be one location of the documenta 14. At the same time you should definitely take the opportunity to discover the whole museum.
It is unique in Germany and was open in Kassel 1992. It aims to illustrate continuity and change of dealing with the "last things" and to restore awareness for the experience of death which has often been suppressed in society.
During the documenta the museum is daily open from 10 to 8 including the cafe. To round off your visit to the museum we invite you to take a break in the cafe, in the covered courtyard or on the terrace overlooking Kassel. You can help yourself to the hot and cold drinks and snacks on offer.
